This book is a must-read for everyone who wants to find a way, or make one, to work they want. As part of an outplacement program run by Bridget Hogg, you might like to make this book available to all your retrenched employees.

This book saves the reader time in job search as it helps the reader to: get in the most resourceful mindset; find the hidden jobs; write an awesome resume; ace that interview; and find work you want.

Or, for those with an entrepreneurial bent – one of those folks who prefers to ‘make work you want’ rather than ‘find’ it, you can read this book as a jumping off point for starting your own business. This book includes guidance to the reader ‘happen to things’, rather than ‘let things happen to you’ and includes ideas to consider at the start of a venture – and useful support contacts to pursue.

The author has twentyfive years’ experience helping hundreds of retrenched workers, career changers and job seekers to find or make work they want. She understands what it takes, how it can be a struggle and how it can sometimes magically fall into place.

In this book is, for the first time in one place, the complete guide to finding or making work you want incorporating tools and techniques from psychology and neuro-linguistic programming as well as from the author’s own multi award winning career transition consulting practice. This book details exactly how to write an awesome resume and provides tools and techniques that are truly transformational.

In 2025 job seekers still struggle to find work they want. The pain of having applications ignored or rejected, time after time, is severe. One can be fully qualified and capable of doing the job – but not even get an interview. Potential entrepreneurs fail to get started on creating work they want. This is the time to get it right and Find a Way – or Make One – to Work You Want.
